Albert Pit Barbecue : do NOT use this caterer for your wedding!

We had a nightmare experience with Albert Pit. Although I doubt this happens to every one of their clients, I want to put out a warning that it could definitely happen to you as it did to us. Be aware of their past disastrous behavior! They "catered" our 175 guest wedding over two hours late, with one owner and one server, not enough food, and no tables to put the food on (they had to deconstruct our dessert and place card tables)! They even left their equipment for over a month at the ceremony location before we, ourselves, had to take it back to their establishment. They offered no excuse that made any sense. We initially went with them because of their speedy and detailed communication. However, something drastically changed in this company between early spring of 2012 and early fall. The food was good, but how could anyone be THAT unprepared for an event that was planned over six months prior? From our experience, this company can't handle anything besides making some pretty good pulled pork.
